その計画が「アルテミス」と呼ばれています。
Artemis Program とも表記しますね。
アルテミスとは、ギリシャ神話に出てくる月の女神で、アポロの双子の姉妹。まさにアポロ計画から５０年の節目に相応しい、次なるプロジェクトですね。

アルテミス計画は２０２４年に月への有人飛行を再び目指すものですが、月を足掛かりに火星も視野に入れていると言われています。トランプさんがはっぱをかける背景には、中国との宇宙における覇権争いがあるようです。For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon - We did that 50 years ago.
